Winter is here, bringing with it cold, night, and silence… As a kind of good-natured defiance against the surrounding darkness, homes adorn themselves with beautiful decorations and colorful garlands. Nature has entered winter… In the heart of the cold season, we gather, we sing, we decorate our homes, we celebrate the light surrounded by our loved ones. Sankta Lucia in Sweden, the winter solstice in the Baltic countries, Christmas celebrations… It is a period of celebrations that has united and brought people together for thousands of years. Through songs from all over the world, we have embarked on a journey into the heart of winter, a season of contrasts. When the surrounding darkness clashes with the joy of reunion, of laughter… of singing to ward off the cold. You will be invited to have tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy, drawn into a mystical epic under the ice… You will meet the Spirits of Christmas and be invited to ride on the sleigh of the illustrious Old Man Winter.
